Welcome to the beautiful world of Sweet Peas, considered by many to be the best loved of all garden annuals. Today there is growing interest in this specie and there are a wide range of varieties available to suit all garden situations.

The Dwarf Cupid types are excellent for the front of borders or for growing in tubs and containers. The taller varieties make fine garden plants with the added bonus of being excellent cut flowers. Modern day Sweet Peas come in an enormous range of colours including bicolours, flakes, stripes and picotees.

Sweet Peas have a fascinating history and we have great pleasure in listing many of the old fashioned varieties originally introduced in Victorian times, these are smaller flowered than modern varieties but more than make up for this by highly fragrant flowers. In addition we have also included some interesting species many of which are easy to grow.
